It is the mission of Santa Clara - Ivins Fire & Rescue to protect and preserve life, property, & the environment from fire, medical, and environmental emergencies, through implementation of our organizational programs, while acting fiscally and ethically responsible.

One of the goals of Santa Clara-Ivins Fire Rescue is the enhancement of our service delivery through the use of industry-leading technology platforms. The use of these platforms can help in reducing our response times, increases firefighter safety through improved situational awareness, and helps to improve our management of public funds. Applications like Active 9-11, Tablet Command, and a variety of Motorola solutions, including the use of mobile data computers
(MDC) and global position systems (GPS), help improve our capabilities. Fire Division Chief, Lance Haynie, coordinates the use and research of the latest products, including developing software internally that provides for data-based decision-making for response planning solutions. Developing strategic partnerships,
including with St. George 9-11 Communication Center, and partnering agencies within Washington County and the state of Utah, helps to ensure we continue to
